RNA was extracted with Trizol. mRNA was isolated with Invitrogen Dynabeads. Illumina RNA-Seq TruSeq v3 reagents were used for library constructions. All protocols followed standard manufacturer's recommendations with the exception of using UNG to enable stranded library construction for some samples (see Methods and Supplementary Data for more information).
