Description
It has been reported that IRE1-bZIP60 pathway is conserved for the signal transduction and gene regulation in response to ER stress including high temperature among human, yeast, Arabidopsis, rice and maize. However, the information of their counterparts in wheat is limited and, especially, the biological relevance of the equivalent pathway contributing to heat tolerance is still ambiguous. In present study, we identified heat stress-induced wheat bZIP60 and investigated its splicing pattern depending on IRE1.
