Nasal epithelium gene expression profiling in child respiratory allergic disease
  • organism-icon Homo sapiens
  • sample-icon 36 Downloadable Samples
  • Technology Badge Icon Affymetrix Human Gene 1.0 ST Array (hugene10st)

Description

Background: In asthma, airway epithelium remodeling can already be detected during childhood, and epithelial cells are more susceptible to virus and oxidative stress. Their exact role in natural history and severity of children allergic respiratory disease remains however surprisingly unexplored.

Transcriptomic impact of microRNAs-449 or microRNAs-34 overexpression in proliferating human airway epithelial cells
  • organism-icon Homo sapiens
  • sample-icon 18 Downloadable Samples
  • Technology Badge Icon Affymetrix Human Gene 1.0 ST Array (hugene10st)

Description

We used microarrays to detail the global programme of gene expression that occurs in response to miR-449 or miR-34 overexpression in proliferating HAECs.

Transcriptome analysis during the time course of regeneration of the human airway mucociliary epithelium
  • organism-icon Homo sapiens
  • sample-icon 12 Downloadable Samples
  • Technology Badge Icon Affymetrix Human Gene 1.0 ST Array (hugene10st)

Description

The regeneration of the airway mucociliary epithelium involves several sequential events including migration, proliferation, polarization and final differentiation (i.e ciliogenesis).

Tumoral transcriptome profiling of tPTEN-/- mice.
  • organism-icon Mus musculus
  • sample-icon 7 Downloadable Samples
  • Technology Badge Icon Affymetrix Mouse Gene 1.0 ST Array (mogene10st)

Description

tPTEN-/- mice display a deletion of the PTEN tumor suppressor gene specifically in T cells (cross PTEN flox/flox x lck-Cre). They develop T cell lymphoma with a primary thymic tumor and invasion of most organ at late stage of the disease.

Publication Title

Pharmacological inhibition of carbonic anhydrase XII interferes with cell proliferation and induces cell apoptosis in T-cell lymphomas.

  • organism-icon Mus musculus
  • sample-icon 7 Downloadable Samples
  • Technology Badge Icon Affymetrix Mouse Gene 1.0 ST Array (mogene10st)

Description

We aim to identify genes differentially expressed between mouse WT and COUP-TFI_Nex-Cre mutant cortices.

Expression data from tibialis anterior muscle
  • organism-icon Mus musculus
  • sample-icon 6 Downloadable Samples
  • Technology Badge Icon Affymetrix Mouse Gene 1.0 ST Array (mogene10st)

Description

We generated transgenic mice expressing constitutively SOCS-3 specifically in skeletal muscle. SOCS proteins are implicated in the negative regulation of various pathways including insulin signaling pathway. Our transgenic mice are predisposed to obesity and systemic insulin resistance compared to control mice.

SOCS-3 in muscle
  • organism-icon Mus musculus
  • sample-icon 6 Downloadable Samples
  • Technology Badge Icon Affymetrix Mouse Gene 1.0 ST Array (mogene10st)

Description

Aims/hypothesis Due to their ability to regulate various signalling pathways (cytokines, hormones, growth factors), the suppressor of cytokine signalling (SOCS) proteins are thought to be promising therapeutic targets for metabolic and inflammatory disorders. Hence, their role in vivo has to be precisely determined.

Publication Title

Constitutive expression of suppressor of cytokine signalling-3 in skeletal muscle leads to reduced mobility and overweight in mice.
